The 2009 Taylors Vintage Port is a classic fortified wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley, showing blackberry, black cherry and plum with violet, dark chocolate, spice and subtle dried fruit notes. The mature vintage adds depth while retaining the concentration expected of Vintage Port.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, with firm tannins, balanced acidity and layers of dark fruit, cocoa, liquorice and warming spice. The finish is long, sweet and persistent, with excellent cellaring potential.
