Whistler Shiver Shiraz 2022 is a Barossa Valley red wine made from estate‑grown Shiraz fruit, often hand‑harvested and partly whole‑bunch fermented to add textural complexity. Aromas jump from the glass with ripe blackberry and blueberry, alongside dark chocolate, black pepper and a hint of leafy spice. On the palate it is soft and juicy with a medium body, supported by a backbone of fine tannins that lend length and precision, while maintaining Barossa richness and freshness. This expressive Shiraz pairs well with grilled meats, barbecued dishes, and hearty stews.
Medium crimson. Fragrant bouquet, mulberry and violets, hints of peppery spice. Fresh, medium bodied and elegant. Attractive vibrancy, hint of white flowers/apricot kernal with supple velvety tannins. Finishes long with excellent line and length, minty overtones to the close. - 95 points, Andrew Caillard MW
