The 2023 Domaine des Croix Beaune 1er Cru Les Grèves is widely considered the standout wine of the estate’s 2023 collection. Sourced from one of Beaune’s greatest Premier Cru vineyards, planted on gravelly clay soils alongside the famed Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus, it combines power, perfume and remarkable finesse. David Croix’s organically farmed parcel delivers a wine of exceptional depth and ageing potential.
The nose reveals dark cherry, raspberry, rose petal, violet and exotic spice, while the palate is layered and mineral with impressive concentration, lively acidity and fine, powdery tannins. Richly textured yet beautifully balanced, it finishes long, savoury and incredibly refined. William Kelley described it as the “king of the cellar” and awarded 94–96 points.

A benchmark Beaune Premier Cru that perfectly balances concentration, elegance and terroir expression. Perfect with duck, roast quail, venison, mushroom dishes or truffle-infused cuisine. Enjoy from 2028 onwards or cellar confidently through 2045+ as it develops even greater complexity and nuance.
