The 2024 Dormilona Skinnie Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc from Jo Perry’s Dormilona label, made from organically farmed fruit in Margaret River. Fermented on skins with minimal intervention, the wine transforms Sauvignon Blanc into a more textural, savoury and aromatic style while still retaining freshness and drinkability. The nose shows grapefruit, passionfruit and preserved lemon alongside fresh herbs, ginger spice and subtle tropical notes. There’s a lightly wild, savoury edge with gentle floral lift and citrus peel complexity.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with juicy citrus fruit, bright acidity and fine phenolic grip from skin contact. Fresh, crunchy and highly energetic, with a dry savoury finish and lightly salty mineral feel.

The 2024 Dormilona Skinnie Sauvignon Blanc is a seriously fun modern skin-contact white — somewhere between Sauvignon Blanc, orange wine and chilled natural wine energy. More textural and savoury than classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc styles while still remaining incredibly refreshing. Perfect with seafood, spicy dishes, charcuterie or sunny afternoon drinking. Best served well chilled.
