The 2024 Bindi Block 8 Pinot Noir is a powerful and highly refined single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Bindi in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. Block 8 is a tiny 0.75-hectare, north-west facing vineyard planted in 2016, with exceptionally high-density plantings reaching up to 22,600 vines per hectare across seven clones. Quartz-rich soils and intensive vineyard management contribute remarkable depth and structure, while the wine spends 15–17 months in French oak, around 50% new.
The 2024 Block 8 Pinot Noir is built for cellaring, with seven or more years of bottle age expected to reveal greater savoury complexity, aromatic nuance and textural refinement. While already impressive for its richness and balance, it promises to evolve into an even more complete expression of this exceptional site, standing comfortably alongside Bindi’s flagship single-vineyard Pinot Noirs.
