The 2023 Redbank The Eyrie Pinot Noir is a refined cool-climate Pinot Noir from Victoria’s high-altitude King Valley, crafted from MV6 clone vines and made in a precise, small-batch style to highlight purity and site expression. Partial whole-bunch fermentation and French oak aging add structure and complexity while preserving freshness. The nose is lifted and aromatic, showing strawberry, red cherry and cranberry layered with notes of cedar, spice and subtle forest floor complexity.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, delivering a core of red fruit balanced by savoury nuance and gentle oak influence. The finish is long, fresh and elegant, with a fine, spicy structure and mineral lift.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is a standout Pinot Noir for customers who enjoy cooler-climate, Burgundian-style wines—elegant, aromatic and food-friendly rather than heavy. It’s approachable now but will evolve over the next 4–6 years. Perfect with duck, mushroom dishes, salmon or soft cheeses.
