Paolo Scavino is a historic, family-run winery located in Castiglione Falletto, at the heart of the Barolo appellation in Piedmont, Italy. Founded in 1921 by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo, the estate has remained in family hands and is now led by the third and fourth generations—Enrico Scavino and his daughters, Elisa and Enrica. With over a century of winemaking tradition, Paolo Scavino has become one of the most respected names in Barolo.

Enrico Scavino has been instrumental in shaping the modern face of Barolo since the 1980s. He was among the first to champion the importance of terroir-specific bottlings, notably debuting a single-vineyard Barolo from Bric dël Fiasc in 1978. His winemaking philosophy emphasizes viticulture over technique, with a commitment to expressing the character of each vineyard rather than imposing a house style.
