Founded by Stefano Campedelli and now run alongside his family, the estate has become one of the benchmark producers of the Valpolicella region, earning international acclaim for its uncompromising commitment to quality, low yields, and meticulous vineyard management.

Located in the Marcellise Valley, east of Verona, Marion farms approximately 25 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Valpolicella DOC. The hillside vineyards benefit from limestone-rich soils, excellent drainage, and a temperate climate influenced by nearby Lake Garda. Warm days and cool nights encourage slow, even ripening, allowing the grapes to develop exceptional concentration while retaining freshness and aromatic complexity.

Marion is best known for its Amarone della Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso, and Cabernet Sauvignon-based blends. Produced primarily from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Croatina, the Amarone displays aromas of black cherry, dried plum, fig, cocoa, liquorice, tobacco, Mediterranean herbs, and sweet spice. Rich and concentrated, the wine remains remarkably elegant, supported by vibrant acidity and finely integrated tannins. The Valpolicella and Ripasso wines offer freshness, purity, and remarkable depth, while the estate's Bordeaux-inspired reds demonstrate the versatility of the terroir.

The winery follows a philosophy centred on traditional viticulture, sustainable farming, and minimal intervention. Grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected before the finest fruit undergoes the traditional appassimento process for Amarone production. Extended drying, slow fermentation, and patient ageing in large oak casks and French barriques produce wines of exceptional complexity and longevity while preserving vineyard character.
