DOMAINE DE LA COMBE
Domaine de la Combe is a traditional family-run winery located in the Loire Valley, France, within the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation, one of the region’s most important areas for crisp, mineral-driven white wines. The estate focuses on expressing the purity and freshness of the Atlantic-influenced Loire terroir.
The vineyards are planted primarily with Melon de Bourgogne, the signature grape of Muscadet. Grown on mineral-rich soils influenced by the nearby Atlantic Ocean, the wines typically show bright citrus flavours, green apple notes and distinctive saline minerality.
Domaine de la Combe follows traditional Muscadet winemaking practices, often ageing wines “sur lie”, where the wine rests on its lees to develop additional texture and complexity while retaining its vibrant freshness.
