CHâTEAU CARBONNEAU

Château Carbonneau is a family-owned wine estate located in the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, on the eastern edge of the Bordeaux region near the Dordogne River. With vineyards situated close to the border of Saint-Émilion, the estate benefits from similar clay and limestone soils that are well suited to classic Bordeaux grape varieties.

The château focuses primarily on Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blends, often complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines typically show ripe red and dark fruit, soft tannins and balanced structure, reflecting the approachable yet characterful style of the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux region.

Alongside red wines, Château Carbonneau also produces fresh Bordeaux white wines from varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, offering bright citrus fruit and refreshing acidity.

With a strong emphasis on vineyard care and traditional Bordeaux winemaking techniques, Château Carbonneau aims to produce expressive wines that showcase the terroir and value of the eastern Bordeaux region.
