The 2022 Vietti Barbera d'Alba Trevie is a vibrant and expressive Barbera sourced from several vineyards across the Langhe hills of Piedmont. It opens with aromas of ripe red cherry, raspberry and violets, layered with hints of vanilla and sweet spice. The palate is medium-bodied and energetic, showing juicy dark cherry and plum fruit supported by Barbera’s naturally bright acidity, soft tannins and a long, polished finish.
Fermented in stainless steel and aged for around 12 months in a combination of steel, large casks and barriques, the wine balances fresh fruit purity with subtle oak complexity.
