The 2020 Vietti Barolo Ravera Magnum (1500ml) is a single-vineyard 100% Nebbiolo from the renowned Ravera MGA in Novello, Piedmont. Grown around 400 metres above sea level on limestone and clay-rich soils, it shows red cherry and ripe berries with floral notes, white pepper and a distinctive chalky mineral character.
On the palate, it is structured yet finely balanced, with vibrant acidity, compact tannins and persistent red fruit. Around 30 months in large oak builds depth while preserving the character of the vineyard. The 1.5L magnum format is particularly well suited to slow, long-term bottle development.
