The 2015 Luciano Sandrone Barolo Aleste Sibi et Paucis is an extraordinary late-release Barolo from the historic Cannubi Boschis vineyard, held back for extended ageing in the Sandrone cellar before release under the estate’s rare "Sibi et Paucis" program - "for ourselves and for a few." Beautifully mature yet still remarkably vibrant, the wine captures the finesse, complexity and longevity that define great Barolo from this legendary site. The nose reveals dried rose, red cherry and blood orange layered alongside tobacco, leather, sweet spice, mint and earthy mineral notes, delivering exceptional depth and elegance.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with silky, finely resolved tannins, vibrant natural acidity and beautifully layered red berry fruit. Notes of cherry, cranberry and savoury spice are balanced by mineral tension and mature earthy complexity, finishing long, harmonious and deeply refined with remarkable poise and persistence.
