The 2021 Laughing Jack Jack’s Semillon is a rich and textural Barossa Valley Semillon made in a fuller-bodied style compared to the leaner Hunter Valley interpretation of the variety. Fermented with careful lees work and subtle oak influence, the wine balances ripe fruit generosity with freshness and savoury complexity. The nose shows lemon curd, ripe pear and white peach alongside honeysuckle, toast and subtle nutty spice. There’s a soft creamy character with hints of citrus blossom and baked apple adding depth.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with ripe orchard fruit, gentle lees texture and balanced acidity. Rounder and more generous than classic high-acid Semillon styles, with a smooth savoury finish and plenty of early-drinking appeal.

The 2021 Laughing Jack Jack’s Semillon is a beautifully approachable modern Semillon — richer and softer than traditional Hunter styles while still retaining freshness and balance. Excellent with roast chicken, creamy seafood dishes, pork or soft cheeses. Drink now through 2029+.
