FRITZ HAAG

Fritz Haag is a prestigious German winery in the Mosel region, known for its exceptional Rieslings and rich history dating back to 1605. Managed by the Haag family for centuries, the estate is currently overseen by Oliver Haag, who succeeded his father, Wilhelm Haag, in 2005. Wilhelm Haag played a pivotal role in establishing the winery’s international reputation and was named “Winemaker of the Year” by Gault & Millau in 1994. Today, Fritz Haag is one of the finest producers in the Mosel, crafting wines of purity, elegance, and balance.

The estate’s most prized vineyards include the famed Brauneberger Juffer and Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr sites. These steep, slate-soil slopes are ideal for cultivating Riesling grapes that produce wines of remarkable complexity, minerality, and aging potential. Fritz Haag exclusively focuses on Riesling, offering a range of styles from dry to lusciously sweet Prädikatswein, including Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese, and the coveted Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese.
