2019 Fraser Gallop Estate Parterre Chardonnay

Light yellow colour, with a highly appealing bouquet of nougat, with stone-fruit, lightly-toasted nuts, and a honey and toffee note. A hint of cream and butter as well. The palate is frisky and vigorous with spine-tingling acidity, but it has the fruit flavour to balance and the whole entity works very well. A very refreshing finish. An excellent food wine.
