FRASER GALLOP
Fraser Gallop Estate is a prestigious winery situated in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River, Western Australia. Founded in 1998 by Nigel Gallop and Heather Fraser, the estate spans 165 acres of gently undulating land, with 50 acres dedicated to vineyards. The site benefits from gravelly loam soils and close proximity to the Indian Ocean, conditions that are ideal for producing exceptional Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals—particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
The winery has achieved international recognition for its commitment to quality. In 2009, Fraser Gallop Estate won the Decanter World Wine Award for Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the World. It also holds a 5 Red Star rating from James Halliday’s Wine Companion, a testament to its consistent excellence across vintages. These accolades have cemented the estate’s reputation as one of Australia’s standout wine producers.
Fraser Gallop’s wine portfolio is divided into three distinct tiers. The Estate Range offers approachable, regionally expressive wines. The Parterre Range is a more refined, cellar-worthy selection that emphasizes complexity and a strong sense of place. At the top, the Palladian Range represents the estate’s finest offerings, showcasing the purest expression of the vineyard and winemaking craftsmanship.
