The 2022 Follin-Arbelet Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru Les Fichots is a 100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Grown on clay-limestone soils from vines planted in 1976 and 1985, it shows ripe red berries and cherry with subtle cocoa, spice and lightly toasted oak notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and structured, with fresh acidity, rounded tannins and generous red fruit leading to a savoury, mineral finish. The grapes are hand harvested, fully destemmed and naturally fermented before slow maturation in oak.
