The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old is an iconic Speyside single malt matured for a minimum of 18 years in predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Presented at 43% ABV with an entirely natural mahogany colour, it offers a rich nose of sultanas, dates, orange peel and dried fruit, layered with cinnamon, ginger, dark chocolate, vanilla and polished oak.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth and deeply concentrated. Raisins, sticky dates and orange are joined by warming ginger, baking spices, dark chocolate and mature oak. The finish is long, rich and gently drying, with lingering dried fruit, cocoa and wood spice.
