Subtle but easily perceptible wood can be found on the pungent aromas of petrol and matchstick character. The succulent and round but decidedly punchy flavors exude a bracing salinity on the linear, chiseled and solidly persistent finish that is presently somewhat youthfully austere. This is potentially excellent and a wine that will need at least a few years of patience so the finish can further flesh out.
