The 2025 Stefano Lubiana Primavera Chardonnay is a bright and expressive Tasmanian Chardonnay crafted from estate-grown fruit sourced from the Derwent Valley and Huon Valley. Named after the Italian word for springtime, Primavera has been a cornerstone of the Stefano Lubiana range since 1998, combining the richness of Granton fruit with the freshness and vitality of Cradoc-grown Chardonnay.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant natural acidity and a beautifully balanced texture. Aromas of white peach, yellow nectarine, lemon and grapefruit lead into flavours of citrus, orchard fruit and subtle cashew and pastry notes. Maturation in a combination of French oak barriques, Austrian oak foudres and stainless steel tanks adds complexity while preserving freshness, resulting in a long, clean finish with excellent purity and detail.
