The 2025 Henschke Stone Jar Tempranillo is a single-vineyard red from Eden Valley, South Australia, made from 100% Tempranillo grown on rocky soils. The nose shows satsuma plum, raspberry and red cherry, layered with dried fig, flowering herbs, white pepper and gentle spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant dark berry and cherry fruit, focused acidity and supple tannins. Savoury notes of dried oregano, bay leaf and cedar add complexity, while six months in seasoned oak hogsheads maintains fruit freshness and leads to a long, structured finish.
