The 2024 Tormaresca Neprica Negroamaro IGT Puglia is a vibrant southern Italian red crafted by Tormaresca, the Puglia estate of the Marchesi Antinori family. Made from 100% Negroamaro, this wine showcases the variety's generous fruit and Mediterranean character, opening with aromas of ripe cherry, wild berries and sweet violets, complemented by hints of pepper, tobacco and subtle spice. Fermented and matured in stainless steel, it retains freshness while highlighting the purity of the fruit.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft, supple tannins and bright acidity. Flavours of juicy black cherry, plum and red berries are balanced by delicate savoury notes, leading to a smooth, fruity finish with excellent freshness and approachability.
