The 2024 Tomfoolery Son of a Gun Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz is a classic Barossa Valley red blend, bringing together ripe Shiraz fruit with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose shows dark berries and brambly fruit with a fresh herbal Cabernet lift.
On the palate, it is full-flavoured and supple, with ripe dark fruit, balanced tannins and a firm Cabernet backbone. Handpicked fruit is open fermented, gently basket pressed and matured for 12 months in seasoned French oak barriques, adding subtle savoury depth without dominating the fruit.
