The 2024 Freycinet Vineyard Riesling is a beautifully pure expression of Tasmania’s East Coast, produced by one of the region’s pioneering family-owned estates. Freycinet Vineyard was established in 1979 by Geoff and Susan Bull, making it the first commercial winery on Tasmania’s East Coast, and today the estate continues under the direction of their daughter Lindy and winemaker Claudio Radenti. The sheltered maritime environment around the Freycinet Peninsula allows Riesling to achieve excellent flavour ripeness while retaining the naturally high acidity that defines the best Tasmanian examples. The 2024 season was particularly successful, producing concentrated fruit with vibrant, juicy acidity.
