Sourced from the renowned Berncasteler Badstube VDP.Grosse Lage, where steep slate slopes produce wines of exceptional finesse, the grapes are gently fermented to Kabinett level, preserving delicate fruit, vibrant acidity and low alcohol. The nose is fresh and expressive, revealing Williams pear, apricot and white peach layered with raspberry, wild strawberry and a touch of saline minerality. The 2024 vintage received 94 points from James Suckling and 92 points from Mosel Fine Wines.
On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively acidity, a gentle sweetness and remarkable precision. Juicy orchard fruit and citrus are balanced by classic Mosel slate minerality, leading to a long, refreshing finish with beautiful harmony and finesse.
