The 2024 Anne and Jean-François Ganevat J’en Veux Encore is a vibrant Vin de France red built around Gamay from Fleurie, blended with Jura varieties including Trousseau, Poulsard and Enfariné. A cool semi-carbonic maceration and short maturation in a large wooden vat preserve its lively fruit character. The nose bursts with wild strawberry, redcurrant, cranberry, fresh cassis and blackberry, complemented by floral woodland notes, mentholated pepper, tomato leaf, fresh earth and thyme.
On the palate, it is light and fluid yet surprisingly intense, with juicy red and black berries carried by bright acidity and exceptionally fine tannins. Crushed strawberry and fresh currant give the wine an attractive roundness, while pepper, herbs and subtle earthiness add complexity to the fresh, energetic finish. Its name translates as "I want more," perfectly capturing its irresistible drinkability.
