The 2023 Kooyong Estate Chardonnay is a refined Mornington Peninsula white presented in a convenient 375ml half bottle. The nose shows lemon peel, mandarin and nectarine with nougat, wet stone and subtle creamy notes.
On the palate, it is focused and finely textured with taut acidity, lime and grapefruit flavours and a long mineral finish. Whole-bunch pressing, ambient fermentation and maturation in French oak add gentle richness and complexity.
