The 2023 Jamet Côte-Rôtie is an expressive Northern Rhône Syrah showing blackberry, black cherry and blueberry with violet, cracked pepper, smoked herbs and savoury spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, with fresh acidity, fine tannins and layers of dark fruit, pepper, olive and mineral notes. The finish is dry, complex and persistent.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this 375ml half bottle is an excellent choice for Syrah drinkers who enjoy aromatic, savoury and finely structured Côte-Rôtie. Best enjoyed over the next 8–15 years. Pair with juniper-roasted duck, lamb shoulder with black olives, venison pie or puy lentils with smoked mushrooms.
