The 2023 Amélie Guillot Poulsard Vieilles Vignes is an old-vine red from Arbois in France’s Jura region, made entirely from Poulsard. Hand-harvested from Amélie Guillot’s small vineyard holdings around Molamboz, it offers bright red cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry alongside delicate florals, dried herbs, gentle spice and subtle earthy notes.
On the palate, it is light-bodied and fresh, with lively acidity, juicy red fruit and fine, supple tannins. The 2023 was matured in tank rather than oak, helping preserve the purity and delicate character of Poulsard. At around 12% alcohol, it remains light and energetic, with a clean, savoury finish. Only around 4,500 bottles were produced.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Poulsard drinkers and Pinot Noir lovers looking for a lighter Jura red with fragrant fruit, fresh acidity and savoury complexity. Best served at cellar temperature or lightly chilled. Ideal with charcuterie, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, pork, lentil dishes or mild cheeses.
