The 2022 Viticoltori Senesi Aretini Chianti Riserva is a traditional Tuscan red based on Sangiovese with other locally permitted varieties. It offers generous aromas of ripe cherry, red plum and blackberry, accompanied by violet, dried herbs, sweet spice and subtle toasted notes.
On the palate, it is dry, warm and well structured, with rounded fruit, refreshing Sangiovese acidity and fine, savoury tannins. An extended 25-day maceration gives the wine additional depth and texture, while the finish is balanced and persistent, carrying notes of dark cherry, spice and Tuscan herbs.
