The 2022 Massolino Barolo Parussi is a distinctive single-vineyard Nebbiolo from the Parussi cru in Castiglione Falletto, the only Massolino Barolo sourced outside Serralunga d’Alba. The nose is expressive with red cherry, raspberry and dried rose, layered with sweet spice, herbs, white pepper and subtle tobacco notes.
On the palate, it is structured and concentrated with refreshing acidity and firm, finely textured tannins. Ripe red fruit, spice and savoury notes carry through to a long, persistent finish. Traditional ageing in large oak casks allows the vineyard character and Nebbiolo fruit to remain clearly defined.
