The 2022 Kaesler Old Bastard Shiraz is a flagship Barossa Valley red, crafted from ancient Shiraz vines planted in 1893, and widely regarded as one of Australia’s benchmark premium Shiraz wines. It reflects an outstanding vintage, with cool, dry conditions producing wines of purity, balance and exceptional quality. The nose is deep and intensely ароматic, showing blackberry, plum and mulberry, layered with notes of chocolate, mocha, spice and subtle herbal and earthy complexity.

At Wine More Cellars, this is a collector-level Barossa Shiraz - deep, complex and built to age. It’s impressive now with extended decanting but will evolve beautifully over time. Drink from 2025 onwards or cellar for 15–25+ years. Perfect with steak, lamb, slow-cooked meats or special occasion dining.
