The 2022 Domaine Clément Lavallée Irancy Les Ronces is a characterful Pinot Noir from Irancy in northern Burgundy. Sourced from a southwest-facing vineyard on clay-limestone soils, it shows red cherry and raspberry alongside peony, gentle spice, subtle herbs and smoky mineral notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and precise, with vibrant acidity supporting fresh red fruit and fine, powdery tannins. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete before maturation in oak. The wine combines supple fruit with savoury spice and a fresh, lightly saline finish.
