The 2022 Domaine Clément Lavallée Chablis 1er Cru Les Beauregards is a refined Chardonnay from a Premier Cru vineyard in Chablis. Grown on classic Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils, it shows fresh lemon, green apple and pear alongside white flowers, subtle stone fruit and distinctive chalky mineral notes.
On the palate, it is dry, precise and finely textured, with vibrant acidity bringing freshness and definition to ripe orchard and citrus fruit. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for around three weeks before maturation in oak barrels, adding gentle depth and texture while maintaining the wine’s mineral-driven character. It is bottled without fining or filtration.
