The 2021 Nautilus Estate Clay Hills Vineyard Pinot Noir is a concentrated single-vineyard red from Marlborough’s Southern Valleys. The nose shows blackberry and black cherry with toasted spice and savoury notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with concentrated dark fruit and generous, fine-grained tannins. Fermentation with 25% whole bunches and 11 months in French oak adds spice and complexity while maintaining an elegant finish.
