2021 Domaine De La Vougeraie Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Clos De La Chapelle Monopole

The first vintage of this Monopole vineyard purchased from the Duchesse de Magenta! The yield is decent at 33 hl/ha. 20% new wood, made in the same way as the other whites. There is a suggestion of considerable power here and distinction. Kicks on beautifully on the palate, white fruit with a few plums in the background, very good acidity, and persistent. A fine first outing.
