Sourced from the historic Vigna del Cuculo vineyard and aged with restraint, the wine combines Barbera’s vibrant acidity with impressive depth, structure and savoury complexity. The nose reveals blackberry, dark cherry and plum layered alongside violet, sweet spice, dried herbs and subtle earthy notes, giving the wine richness and lift.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with lively natural acidity, supple tannins and beautifully pure dark berry fruit. Layers of black cherry and plum are balanced by savoury spice, mineral freshness and gentle oak complexity, finishing long, energetic and finely structured with excellent ageing potential.
