Subtle wood sets off cool, pure and airy aromas of pear, green apple, lavender and an interesting hint of star anise. I very much like the impressive intensity of the overtly mineral-driven flavors that exude a Chablis-like nuance of iodine on the chiseled, moderately austere and hugely long finale. This will need a few years of cellaring to develop better depth but that should occur if given a chance. Lovely.
