The 2019 Quinta do Vesúvio Vintage Port is a powerful and terroir-driven expression from one of the Douro Valley’s most historic estates, crafted using traditional foot-treading in granite lagares and produced as a single-quinta vintage. It reflects both the intensity of the site and the precision of the Symington family’s winemaking. The nose is rich and aromatic, showing blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, layered with notes of lavender, rosemary and subtle spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and opulent, with a dense core of ripe black fruit supported by firm structure and polished tannins. Despite its richness, it maintains balance and freshness, leading to a long, silky and persistent finish.

At Wine More Cellars, this is a serious Vintage Port for collectors and enthusiasts, offering both immediate depth and long-term aging potential. It will evolve beautifully over decades but can be enjoyed now with extended decanting. Best from 2030 onwards. Perfect with chocolate desserts, blue cheese or as a standalone after-dinner wine.
