The 2019 Château Mauvesin Barton is a refined Bordeaux red from Moulis-en-Médoc, made from 64% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc. The nose shows strawberry and fresh red berries with subtle floral, mint, spice and gentle woody notes.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with fresh acidity, generous fruit and structured yet approachable tannins. The wine is matured for 12–15 months in French oak, with one-third new barrels, adding depth and subtle savoury complexity while maintaining freshness through a balanced, persistent finish.
