The 2019 Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry is a distinguished Third Growth (3ème Grand Cru Classé) from Margaux, Bordeaux, made from 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The nose is expressive with blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry, layered with violet, cedar, graphite, liquorice and subtle spice.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with concentrated dark fruit, fresh acidity and beautifully polished tannins. The wine was matured with 70% new oak, adding depth and structure while retaining the elegance and freshness of the fruit, leading to a long, focused and mineral-driven finish.

At Wine More Cellars, this is a great choice for Bordeaux drinkers who enjoy concentrated Cabernet fruit, silky tannins and the perfumed elegance of Margaux. Enjoy it from around 2027 onwards or cellar well into the 2030s and beyond as further savoury complexity develops. Ideal with roast lamb, grilled steak, duck, venison, slow-braised beef or mature hard cheeses.
