The 2018 Domaine Bruno Clair Marsannay Blanc, also known as Cuvée Source des Roches, is an elegant white Burgundy from the higher slopes of Marsannay in the Côte de Nuits, made from 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Blanc grown on poor, stony soils. The nose shows white flowers, honeysuckle and delicate rosewater with ripe orchard fruit, lime and distinctive limestone minerality.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fresh citrus fruit, fine acidity and a gently rounded texture. Maturation in a combination of tank and oak foudres adds subtle depth while preserving freshness, with citrus, light spice and crushed-stone minerality carrying through a savoury, refreshing finish.

The 2018 is drinking well now and can continue developing through around 2030, with storage history particularly important at this age.
