2013 Yalumba The Caley Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Museum Release

Coonawarra: 2013 was an excellent vintage, preceded by good rains over winter and mild conditions during spring flowering giving a good even set of berries. Warm conditions continued through harvest allowing the grapes to be picked with the ideal colour, flavour and tannin accumulation.
Barossa: A drier than average winter, spring and summer with warmer temperatures through spring, summer and autumn. These dry, warm conditions produced lighter Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz crops with smaller berries full of concentrated flavours. The nights were relatively cool which maintained freshness, aromatics and pristine fruit flavours.
