Zena Crown Vineyard is one of the most celebrated vineyard estates in Oregon's Willamette Valley, producing world-class Pinot Noir from the prestigious Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Established in 2013 by the Jackson Family Wines portfolio, the estate was created to showcase one of the region's most exceptional vineyard sites through meticulous viticulture and small-lot winemaking. Today, Zena Crown is recognised as one of Oregon's benchmark Pinot Noir producers, crafting elegant, terroir-driven wines with remarkable precision and ageing potential.

The estate encompasses approximately 115 hectares, with around 50 hectares planted to Pinot Noir across steep, south-facing slopes in the Eola-Amity Hills. The vineyard benefits from the region's famous Van Duzer Corridor, where cool Pacific winds moderate daytime temperatures and extend the growing season. Volcanic basalt soils, excellent drainage, and significant diurnal temperature variation create ideal conditions for producing Pinot Noir with vibrant acidity, refined tannins, and exceptional aromatic complexity.

Zena Crown is dedicated exclusively to Pinot Noir, offering a collection of highly regarded vineyard-designated wines including The Sum, Conifer, Slope, and Block bottlings that showcase the diversity of individual vineyard parcels. The wines display expressive aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, cranberry, rose petals, forest floor, black tea, and baking spice, supported by silky tannins, mineral freshness, and remarkable balance. Each bottling reflects the subtle differences in elevation, soil composition, and exposure within the vineyard.

Winemaking follows a meticulous, Burgundian-inspired philosophy. Fruit is harvested entirely by hand and fermented in small lots to preserve the individuality of each block. Indigenous yeasts are used where appropriate, with gentle extraction and carefully judged maturation in French oak barrels enhancing complexity without overshadowing the vineyard character.
