Tellurian is a boutique winery located in Victoria's renowned Heathcote wine region, producing premium wines that showcase the distinctive character of one of Australia's finest terroirs for Shiraz. The estate is situated on the famous Cambrian soils of Heathcote, some of the oldest soils on Earth, dating back more than 500 million years. Rich in ironstone and offering excellent drainage, these red soils are internationally recognised for producing Shiraz with exceptional concentration, structure, minerality, and longevity.

Tellurian is best known for its Shiraz, which displays aromas of blackberry, plum, blueberry, cracked pepper, violet, liquorice, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wines combine generous fruit with refined tannins, vibrant natural acidity, and savoury complexity, delivering a style that balances power with elegance. The estate also produces Rhône-inspired varieties including Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier, reflecting the region's suitability for Mediterranean grape varieties.

The winery follows a philosophy centred on sustainable viticulture, low yields, and minimal intervention in the cellar. Careful vineyard management, hand harvesting, and restrained oak maturation allow the fruit and distinctive Heathcote terroir to remain the defining features of every wine.
