SWINGING BRIDGE
Swinging Bridge Wines is a boutique Australian winery located in the Orange wine region, New South Wales, one of Australia’s leading high-altitude cool-climate areas. Founded by winemaker Tom Ward, the estate is known for producing expressive wines that highlight the unique conditions of Orange.
The vineyards sit at elevations of 600–900 metres, where cool temperatures and volcanic soils allow grapes to ripen slowly while retaining natural acidity and aromatic intensity. This environment is particularly well suited to varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, as well as alternative grapes like Grüner Veltliner.
Swinging Bridge wines are typically fresh, structured and elegant, with Chardonnay showing citrus, stone fruit and mineral notes, while Pinot Noir offers red berry fruit, spice and fine tannins. The style reflects a balance between fruit purity and cool-climate precision.
