ROYAL TOKAJI
Royal Tokaji is one of Hungary’s most renowned wineries, located in the historic Tokaj region, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for producing some of the world’s greatest sweet wines. Founded in 1990, the estate played a key role in the revival of Tokaji after the fall of communism and has since become a benchmark producer.
Tokaj benefits from a unique combination of volcanic soils, a continental climate, and the influence of autumn mists that encourage the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). These conditions are essential for producing Tokaji Aszú, wines known for their concentration, complexity, and remarkable balance between sweetness and acidity.
Royal Tokaji specializes in traditional Tokaji wines made primarily from Furmint, including Tokaji Aszú and late harvest styles. The wines are rich and layered, offering flavors of honey, apricot, citrus, and spice, supported by vibrant acidity and exceptional aging potential.
As a leading name in Tokaji, Royal Tokaji represents the pinnacle of Hungarian sweet wine, combining heritage, precision, and global recognition.
