ROCCHE COSTAMAGNA
Rocche Costamagna is a historic winery located in the village of La Morra, one of the most prestigious areas within the Barolo appellation in Piedmont. The estate’s history dates back to 1841, making it one of the long-standing producers in the region.
The winery is best known for producing elegant expressions of Nebbiolo, particularly Barolo wines that reflect the finesse and aromatic character typical of La Morra. The vineyards sit on limestone and clay soils, which contribute to wines with lifted floral aromas, refined tannins, and excellent ageing potential.
Rocche Costamagna farms several important vineyard sites, including the historic Rocche dell’Annunziata cru, one of the most respected vineyards in the Barolo region. The wines typically show notes of rose, red cherry, raspberry, and delicate spice, combined with structure and elegance.
Today, Rocche Costamagna wines are recognised for their balance, tradition, and strong connection to the terroir of La Morra, producing classic examples of Barolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto that highlight the character of Piedmont’s most famous wine region.
