The 2022 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru has a classy bouquet, well-defined with crushed stone and dewy green apples. It has a fine focus. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with a superb line of acidity, real weight and depth, but retaining utmost precision and harmony on the finish. There's just a bit of oak to be assimilated, but this is an impressive, well-crafted Fourchaume.
